Who we are. And what we're up to.

Michele Berglund is a gifted healer. An acne specialist. A studied and 19-years-practicing master of the skin. She loves people and, in return, people naturally gravitate to her.

Treatments-- from facials to peels to waxing to light therapy-- are avenues through which Michele cares for others. After a service, a client will be completely pampered, at ease, and rejuvenated. Driven by her compassion and an innate sense of service, Michele's clients often grow into life-long friends. This is more than your average spa; it is a place of connection and healing.

Michele began her practice of aesthetics in 1992, when she studied under many of the great skincare masters. Today those teachers are known worldwide by their namesake skincare products-- Nelly Devuyst, Pevonia, Remy Laure, and Jurlique, to name a few. She received her Esthetician's License in 1992. A lifelong student, she remains in incessant pursuit of new techniques, therapies and products. Her committment to others' health, especially of the skin, sets her apart from any other you'll find.

Throughout many years of practicing aesthetics and sharing her warm heart, Michele has built a thriving business in the Redding community. After working for a local dermatologist for several years, and then building an independent clinic in downtown Redding for ten more, she moved and expanded her vision.

In 2007 Michele and her husband, Greg, opened Affinity Skin Clinic to provide a safe, nourishing place of complete wellness. Since then the business has blossomed! Their skincare store, Skincare by Michele, is now the largest of its kind in Northern California, and the abundance continues to flow.
